Why use forms?
Forms are a great way to connect with your audience and make it easy for them to share their info, give feedback, or even buy from you. With FEA Create, you can build forms that feel like your brand and automatically do things like send a confirmation email or redirect your visitor after submission.
What do I need before starting?
Have a clear idea of what info you want to collect
Decide what the form should do with this info (newsletter sign up, contact request, product sale)
Optional: any products ready if you want to sell through the form
Optional: images, colours, and fonts ready to use for your brand
How long will this take?
If you use a template, it only takes around 10 to 15 minutes. Custom forms may take a little longer depending on your fields and styling.
Step 1: Access the Form Builder
Go to Websites & Funnels, select Forms, and click Add Form. Pick a template or start from scratch. If you choose a template, hit Duplicate to start customizing it.
Step 2: Name Your Form
Give it a clear name so you can find it easily later.
Step 3: Add and Customize Form Fields
Drag in fields and click them to edit text, make required, or add placeholders. A few things you might include:
Step 4: Adjust the Style
In Styles and Options (top right), pick colours, fonts, and layouts to make your form look just right for your brand. Add a background image if you like.
Step 5: Set Up Notifications
Decide who should get notified when someone submits the form. You can also send a friendly confirmation email to your visitor.
Step 6: Configure Actions on Submission
In Settings, choose what happens after submission. Show a thank you message, redirect to another page, or connect with other tools. You can also use this to confirm product orders.
Step 7: Save, Preview, and Share
Save your form and click Preview to see it live.
Embed your form on your site to make it accessible to everyone, add it to a pop-up, share the link on social media, or include it in an email. Embedding is the best way to make your form part of your website seamlessly.
How can I test this?
Try filling out the form yourself to make sure submissions go through, emails are sent, and any redirects work. Check that it looks great on both desktop and mobile.
Form Troubleshooting Tips
If your form isn’t working as expected, check the following:
Workflow Triggers: Make sure you have set the correct trigger in your workflow for the form. Without the right trigger, actions may not run when the form is submitted.
Form Assignment: Ensure the correct form is assigned to the workflow. If the wrong form is linked, submissions won’t behave as intended.
Form Usage: Confirm the form is only being used in this workflow. If the same form is connected to multiple workflows, it may cause conflicts.
Product Setup: If your form involves selling products, double-check that the products are set up correctly, with proper pricing and availability.
Submission Actions: Verify that thank you messages, redirects, and confirmation emails are configured properly in the Settings.
Embedding Issues: If your form doesn’t appear on your website, ensure the embed code is placed correctly and that there are no conflicts with other scripts.
Mobile Responsiveness: Preview the form on mobile devices to make sure it displays correctly and is easy to use.
