A waitlist funnel is a powerful tool to generate excitement and build anticipation for an upcoming product or program. By collecting leads in advance, you can nurture them through automated emails, keeping them engaged and ready to take action once you launch. This guide will walk you through how to set up a waitlist funnel in FEA Create, step by step.
Step 1: Create Your Waitlist Form
Go to Websites & Funnels > Forms > Builder.
Find the waitlist form template and duplicate it. This ensures you keep the original template intact.
Name your form, e.g., Waitlist for My Launch.
Click Confirm and then open the form to edit it.
Add any fields you need, such as name, email, or phone number.
Go to Notification Settings and enable notifications to receive an alert when someone submits the form.

Click Save & Publish.
Step 2: Clone the Waitlist Funnel
Go to Websites & Funnels > Funnels.
Find the waitlist funnel template and clone it.
Name your funnel, e.g., My Waitlist Funnel.
Click Confirm.
Step 3: Edit Your Funnel Pages
Edit the Join Page
Click the arrow next to the funnel step and select Edit in a New Tab.
Customize the page with your branding, text, and images.
To add your form as a pop-up:
Set the Button Action to go to the next step (the thank you page).
Click Save & Publish.
Edit the Thank You Page
Go to the Pages section and select the thank you page.
Edit the text to thank users for joining the waitlist.
Add links to your social media or other relevant information.
Click Save.
Step 4: Set Up Your Automation
Go to Automations.
Find the Waitlist Nurture Sequence template.
Click the three dots and select Duplicate Workflow.
Open the duplicated workflow to edit it.
Update the trigger to use your new waitlist form.
Add a Contact Tag (e.g., Signed Up for Waitlist).
Edit the email sequence:
Click into each email to customize the content.
Add images, links, and calls to action.
Adjust the Wait Steps between emails (e.g., 2 days or 7 days).
Toggle the Publish button and click Save.
Step 5: Publish Your Funnel
Go back to Websites & Funnels.
Open your funnel and go to Settings.
Select your domain and add a path (e.g., mywebsite.com/waitlist).
Click Save to publish your funnel.
Your waitlist funnel is now live and ready to start collecting leads for your upcoming launch!
