How Do I Create A Survey?

Surveys (what we call questionnaires) can be used to improve services, sales copy, and create new products. In this article, we will go over the steps to create a survey in FEA Create.

Why Should I Create a Survey in FEA Create

Creating a survey helps you:

  • Understand your audience and their needs

  • Improve your services based on real feedback

  • Gather insights to create or refine products

  • Make informed marketing or sales decisions

How Long Will It Take

The time it takes depends on the length and complexity of your survey:

  • A short survey with a few questions can be set up in 10–15 minutes

  • A longer survey with multiple pages, images, or videos may take 30–60 minutes

Step 1: Access the Survey Builder

Go to Websites & Funnels in FEA Create. From there, you can create a new survey by clicking Add Survey.

Step 2: Choose a Template or Start from Scratch

You have access to over a thousand templates, or you can start from scratch. Once you decide, give your survey a name.

Step 3: Add Questions to Your Survey

  • On the left you can click on the Survey elements from the menu.

  • Drag and drop the desired question type into your survey.

  • Edit the label on the right side of the page to customize your question.

  • Choose between different formats like multiple choice, single-line text, or long-form text.

  • Mark questions as required if they must be answered before submission.

  • Arrange the order of the questions by dragging them up or down.

You can also include:

  • Full Name field for identifying respondents.

  • Text box for an introduction or additional details.

  • Images and Videos to enhance your survey.

Step 4: Customize the Survey

  • You can add multiple pages to your survey by clicking the + icon underneath each slide.

  • Set up email notifications to receive an alert when a user completes the survey.

  • Adjust styling settings, such as changing the format from a box to a line.

Step 5: Configure Submission Settings

  • Set actions upon submission, such as displaying a thank you message or redirecting users to your website.

  • Adjust survey settings like allowing only one question at a time or using a GDPR-compliant font.

Step 6: Share Your Survey

Click Integrate to embed your survey into an existing webpage or get a direct link to share with your customers.

Step 7: Save and Publish

Once everything is set up, click Save, and your survey is ready to go!

Surveys can help you gather valuable feedback from your audience, allowing you to improve your services and create products that better serve your customers.

Step 8: Test Your Survey

Before sharing it widely, test your survey to make sure everything works:

  • Submit a test response to check question flow and submission actions

  • Verify email notifications are received correctly

  • Check the survey on desktop and mobile to ensure it displays properly

  • Confirm that any redirects or thank you messages appear as expected
