Connecting Your iCloud Calendar to FEA Create
If you use your iCloud calendar to organise your day, you can connect it to FEA Create so everything stays aligned. This helps your availability stay accurate and makes it easier to keep track of any bookings you receive.
This guide will walk you through how to link your iCloud calendar with FEA Create so your bookings and availability stay in sync.
Step 1: Create an App Specific Password in Your Apple Account
Apple requires a special password when you connect your iCloud calendar to another platform. It is different from your usual Apple ID password.
Follow these steps:
Visit appleid.apple.com and sign in.
Make sure two factor authentication is turned on in the Security section.
Find the App Specific Passwords section and select Generate Password.
Give the password a simple label such as "Calendar Sync" and select Create.
Copy the password and keep it somewhere safe. You will need it in the next step.
Step 2: Connect Your iCloud Calendar in FEA Create
Once you have your app specific password, you can connect your calendar.
Go to Settings then My Profile then Calendars
Select Add New.
Choose iCloud Calendar then select Connect.
Enter your Apple ID and the app specific password you created.
Select Connect.
Step 3: Choose Your Calendar Settings
After your iCloud calendar is connected, you can set up how it works inside FEA Create.
Linked Calendar
This is the calendar where new events from FEA Create will be added. For example, if someone books an appointment with you, it will appear on this linked calendar so you can see it on your iCloud calendar.
Only users with writer access can choose a linked calendar.
When you pick a linked calendar, it is also included as a conflict calendar.
Conflict Calendar
A conflict calendar lets FEA Create check your iCloud events so your availability stays accurate.
If an event on your iCloud calendar is marked as Busy, FEA Create will block that time so you cannot be booked.
If an event is marked as Free, the time will stay open.
You can add more than one conflict calendar if needed. This helps prevent double bookings.
