How Do I Prevent Spam Email Sign Ups?

Prevent spam email sign ups with our email verification feature in FEA Create

Updated over a week ago

Email verification is the process of confirming that an email address is valid and belongs to the person who claims to own it. In this article, we'll explore why email verification is important and how it can benefit your business or organization.

Email lists are an excellent way to grow your business and connect with your audience. However, it's essential to protect your list from spam and invalid emails. With FEA Create, we have implemented features to help you make the most out of your email marketing efforts.

One of these features is list verification. When someone signs up for your email list, the system checks to ensure that the email is valid before sending any emails. This feature is automatically enabled if you're using our lead connector service. If you're using Mailgun, you'll need to sign up for this separately within your Mailgun account.

There is a nominal fee of two cents for every 200 verified emails. You'll see this charge in your billing history if you're using this feature. The system automatically verifies your list every time you send an email campaign or an automation workflow email. However, you can also verify your list manually.

To manually verify an email, go to the email you want to verify. If the email is not yet verified, a gray box will appear. Click on the box, and the system will validate the email for you. If the email is valid, the box will turn green, and you're good to go. If the email is invalid, it will appear red.

By using list verification, you can ensure that your email list is protected, and your email marketing efforts are maximized.
