How To Make Your Website GDPR Compliant in FEA Create
If you’re collecting data from visitors in the EU, it’s important to make sure your website follows GDPR rules. Here’s how you can do this in FEA Create.
Step 1: Add a Cookie Consent Banner
A cookie banner informs visitors that your website uses cookies and asks for their consent.
Go to Websites & Funnels in FEA Create and select the website you want to edit.
Open the Website Builder and click Cookie Consent at the top.
Customize the banner message and make sure it gives visitors an option to accept or reject cookies.
Step 2: Use GDPR Compliant Fonts
In your Website Settings, choose to use only GDPR compliant fonts for your website. This helps ensure that no personal data is sent to external servers without consent.
Step 3: Update Your Privacy Policy
Your website should have a privacy policy that explains how you collect, store, and use data.
Create a page on your website called Privacy Policy.
Include information about:
What data you collect
How it is stored and used
How users can request access or deletion of their data
Link to this page in your footer or navigation so it’s easy to find.
Step 4: Enable Consent for Forms
If you have forms for email signups, memberships, or purchases, make sure users can give explicit consent.
Go to Websites & Funnels > Forms in FEA Create.
Edit your form and add a T&C's checkbox asking for consent to collect personal data.
Link to your Privacy Policy in this checkbox.
Following these steps ensures your website is GDPR friendly and builds trust with your visitors.
