How Do I Create New Pages In My Website?

Your account has been preloaded with a beautifully designed website template that you can customize for your business.

Updated over a week ago

Your website is essentially a collection of different pages, each serving a unique purpose, such as your homepage, about page, and contact page. Let's dive into the steps:

Step 1. Accessing Page Management:

Log in to your FEA Create dashboard. Navigate to "Sites" and then "Websites."

Step 2. Viewing Existing Pages:

Click on the specific website you're working on. You'll see a list of existing pages associated with your website.

Step 3. Default Pages:

If you're using a template or the FEA template, core pages like Home, Services, About, Contact, Blog, Error 404, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Conditions may already be present. You can customize these or add new ones as needed.

Step 4. Creating a New Page:

To add a new page, click on the "+" (Add New Page) button in the top right corner. Name your page (e.g., Testimonials) and set the path (the link extension after your domain, like mywebsite.com/testimonials). Click "Create New Page."

Step 5. Choosing Design:

You can either start with a blank page or use an existing one for a consistent design. If you want a uniform look across your site, select "Use Existing," choose your template, and pick a page to import the design.

Step 6. Editing Pages:

Edit your pages by selecting them and clicking on "Settings." Here, you can adjust details like the page name and path. For deeper edits, use the "Edit in New Tab" option.

Step 7. Deleting Pages:

If you want to remove a page, click on "Settings" and then "Delete." Confirm the deletion.

Step 8. Essential Pages:

Consider the essential pages for your site: Home, About, Services, Contact, Blog, Privacy Policy, and Terms and Conditions. Only include pages that add value and relevance to your audience.

Step 9. Legal Pages:

Ensure you have essential legal pages, such as Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. Customize these based on your business and location.

Step 10. Design Consistency:

Aim for a consistent design across your pages to maintain a cohesive and professional look.

Taking a few minutes to plan your pages strategically will contribute to a user-friendly and organized website. Focus on the key pages that align with your business goals and offer valuable information to your visitors. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out.
