Creating a website for your business is an essential step towards establishing your online presence. However, it can be daunting to create a website. This checklist will guide you on how to create a website using a template provided by sites.

Step 1: Once you have all of your products ready to sell and your lead generation funnel set up, it's time to create your website. Of course, you can create your website before this step, but having all the pieces in place will make it easier.

Step 2: Navigate to the "Sites" section and click on "Websites." There you will find a website template that you can use. Make sure to clone the website so that you can keep the original template for future use.

Step 3: The template includes a basic five-page website with a homepage, about page, services page, blog page, and contact page. The blog page is already set up, and you just need to add new blog posts to it.

Step 4: To edit the homepage, always make sure to edit in a new tab. Your homepage should be a summary of all the things you offer. Include a "come and join our freebie" section, which links to your lead generation funnel. Also, add an "about you" section with your mission and approach, a "how can I help you" section with your basic services, a section for testimonials, and a bottom call-to-action that links to your lead generation funnel.

Step 5: On the footer, create your legal pages, such as your privacy page and terms and conditions, and link them down here. You can create global sections, which will change on all pages, or save sections as templates to use on additional pages.

Step 6: Your about page should let people know who you are. Include a gorgeous picture of yourself, tell your story, and explain why you're doing what you do. You can also include a section for testimonials and a bottom call-to-action for your freebie.

Step 7: Your services page is where you sell your products. Use short information and links to your sales pages, where you can have all the details about each product. Use an image, headline, and a button to direct people to the sign-up or purchase page.

Step 8: Your contact page should allow people to get in touch with you. Include a form for them to fill out, social media links, and any other ways to contact you.

Step 9: When you're ready to launch, connect your domain and add any tracking codes or chat widgets you want. Don't forget to fill out the SEO metadata, which is essential for ranking in Google.

Step 10: Additional pages to consider include your legal pages, privacy policy, and terms and conditions. You might also want to add an intake form or booking calendar.

Step 11: Remember that your website is the home for your business and links to all the things. Your funnels are your action pages, where people sign up for things or enter their credit card information. Use your website for static pages that will always be there.

Step 12: If you're not ready to get your website up yet, link your domain to your lead generation funnel or use the contact page as a coming soon page.

By following these steps, you can create a beautiful and effective website that will help you grow your business.
