How Do I Edit My Navigation Menu On My Website?

Here we will guide you through the process of editing your navigation menu in FEA Create

Updated over a week ago

Whether you're using a template or building from scratch, let's make sure your website's navigation is just the way you want it. Follow these steps:

For Template Users:

Access Page Editor:

  • Navigate to any page of your website and select "Edit in a new tab." This will open the page editor.

Global Navigation:

  • If you're using the FEA Create template, your navigation is already set up globally, meaning it appears on all pages automatically.

For Custom or Other Templates:

Create a Global Section:

  • If you're creating the navigation from scratch, add a new section, a row, and insert the menu elements.

  • Ensure to click the save icon, name the section, add it to global sections, and save again.

Editing the Navigation:

Customizing Header:

  • Click on the navigation menu element to access options.

  • Modify background colors for both regular and mobile views.

Adjusting Styling:

  • Change letter spacing, alignment, and other stylistic elements.

Managing Menu Items:

  • Rearrange items, create sub-items for a dropdown effect, and edit each item.

  • Set pages to which items link (e.g., Home, About, Blog, Services, Contact).

Adding New Items:

  • Optionally, add new items like login links, specifying where they should lead.

Additional Design Options:

Styling Options:

  • Adjust font size, font type, and mobile view icon.

Custom Logo:

  • Include your logo in the menu, customize its width, and set its action (e.g., link to the homepage).

Color Choices:

  • Modify color options to match your website's aesthetics.

Save Your Changes:

Finalize Edits:

  • Click "Save" to apply your changes. Remember, if you're using a global section, it will update on all pages.

That's it! Your website navigation is now configured to enhance user experience. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out.
