How SMS Messaging Limits Work in FEA Create

Updated over a week ago

FEA Create has built-in limits for SMS messaging to help keep your account safe and working smoothly. Think of it like gradually warming up your email account but for SMS. This means your messaging limits increase step by step as you use the platform responsibly.

Where to Find Your Messaging Limits

You can check your SMS messaging progress by going to:

Settings > Phone Numbers > Messaging > Messaging Limits

Here you will see the Messaging Ramp Progress Card, which gives you a simple view of your limits and how to increase them.

Understanding the Messaging Ramp Progress Card

The card shows your current messaging level and what you need to do to move up:

  • Current Level: Shows your current limit and what you need to do to reach the next level. For example, it might say, “Send 250 messages by Jan 10, 2025 to unlock Level 2.”

  • Locked Levels: Shows upcoming levels with a lock icon so you know what’s next.

  • Future Levels: Lets you see what higher limits look like so you can plan ahead.

How to Increase Your SMS Limit

Here’s how you can move up the messaging ramp:

  • Send Your Current Limit: Use up your daily SMS limit to progress to the next level.

  • Temporary Block: Once you reach your daily limit, you may see a 24-hour pause before you can send more. This is normal and part of the ramp-up.

  • Unlock the Next Level: Once the ramp-up requirements are met, your daily SMS limit will increase automatically.

Reaching the Highest Levels

Once you reach Level 8, you will see a congratulations message and instructions to contact your account owner or admin if you want to upgrade further.

The Messaging Limit Card and the Messaging Ramp Progress Card are designed to make it easy for you to track your progress and manage your account smoothly. By following the steps, you can unlock higher limits, avoid temporary blocks, and keep your messaging running without interruption.
