How to Set Up a Outlook 2-Way Sync in FEA Create

Updated today

Keeping your emails organised is so much easier when everything is in one place.

By connecting your Outlook account with FEA Create, you can send and receive emails directly through the CRM while also keeping them synced with your Outlook inbox.

This means you’ll always see the full conversation history with your contacts no matter where you reply from.

Step 1: Go to Your Profile Settings

In your FEA Create account, open Settings from the left-hand menu.
Click on the My Profile tab, then scroll down to the Email (2-Way Sync) section.

Step 2: Connect Your Outlook Account

Choose Outlook as your email provider and click Connect.

Step 3: Authorize the Connection

Enter your Outlook login details and approve the permissions for LeadConnector (this is the system FEA Create uses to make the sync work).

Step 4: Confirm the Connection

Once connected, return to Settings > My Profile and scroll to the Email (2-Way Sync) section. You’ll see your Outlook account listed under connection status.

How Outlook 2-Way Sync Works

Once your account is connected:

  • If you send an email from FEA Create, the entire thread will appear in both FEA Create and Outlook.

  • If you receive an email in Outlook from someone already saved as a contact in FEA Create, the message (and all replies in the thread) will also show in FEA Create.

  • If you email someone new from Outlook who isn’t yet in FEA Create, you can add your unique BCC address in the CC or BCC field. This will automatically create the contact in FEA Create and sync the thread.

Things to Know

  • Attachments up to 3 MB in size will sync. Larger files won’t transfer.

  • Supported file types include: JPG, JPEG, PNG, MP4, MPEG, ZIP, RAR, PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT.

Managing Your Connection

  • Update Email: If you want to switch to a different Outlook account, you can update your connection. New outgoing emails will use the updated address, but old threads linked to the previous account will stop syncing.

  • Disconnect Email: This will fully remove the sync. Once disconnected, no emails will transfer between Outlook and FEA Create.

2-Way Sync with Different Types of Emails

  • Individual Emails: Sent directly from your connected Outlook.

  • Bulk Emails: If you enter your connected Outlook address in the “From” field, those bulk emails will appear as sent from your Outlook. If left blank, they’ll send from the default FEA Create email provider.

  • Workflows & Automations: These will always send from the default provider in FEA Create. They won’t sync with your Outlook inbox.
