How to Import Blog Posts in FEA Create

If you already have blog posts on another website and want to move them over to FEA Create, the Blog Importer tool makes the process quick and easy. Instead of copying and pasting each blog post one by one, you can import many posts in just a few clicks. This is especially helpful if you’re switching platforms, want to keep all your content in one place, or are getting started with blogging on FEA Create and want to bring your past work with you.

Before You Begin

To make sure the import works properly, check this first:

  • Does your old blog have a sitemap? A sitemap is like a list of all your blog posts. Most platforms create this for you automatically. Try typing /sitemap.xml after your blog URL (for example: blog.abc.com/sitemap.xml) to see if it loads.

Step 1: Go to the Blog Importer

  1. In your FEA Create account, go to Websites & Funnels.

  2. Click on Blogs.

  3. Choose an existing blog site, or click to create a new one.

  4. Once inside the blog site, click New Post, then choose Import Blog Post from URL.

Step 2: Add Your Blog Details

  1. Enter your blog’s homepage URL.

  2. Add the link to one of your most recent blog posts.

  3. Choose where your blog is hosted from the list (e.g. WordPress or HubSpot). If you're not sure, just choose Not Sure.

  4. The system will start scanning your blog.

Step 3: Map the Blog Content

  1. When the scan is done, click Review Results.

  2. You’ll now see what FEA Create found in your blog.

  3. Map the following fields by clicking on them:

    • Blog title

    • Author name

    • Published date

    • Featured images

    • Main content/body

    • Categories or tags

If something doesn’t look quite right, you can adjust it using the tools provided (there’s a way to use CSS selectors, but don’t worry—only do this if needed).

Once everything is mapped properly, click Continue.

Step 4: Import Your Blog Posts

  • The system will finish gathering your posts. If you have around 1,000 posts, it might take 10–20 minutes.

  • After that, you can choose to import each blog post one-by-one or all at once.

  • The posts will come in as drafts so you can check them first.

  • Make sure you preview each one to see that it looks right before publishing.
