Setting Up a Custom Domain for Your Client Portal in FEA Create

Using a custom domain allows you to rebrand your client portal URL, making it look more professional and aligned with your business.

Instead of using the default client portal link, you can create a custom link that matches your brand, such as portal.yourwebsite.com. This makes it easier for your clients to recognize and trust your portal.

Step 1: Go to Domain Settings

  1. Log in to your FEA Create dashboard.

  2. Go to Create Your Offer > Client Portal.

  3. Click on Settings.

  4. Select Domain Settings.

Step 2: Add Your Custom Domain

  1. Enter your custom domain name. This needs to be a subdomain of your main website. For example, if your main website is yourwebsite.com, your subdomain could be portal.yourwebsite.com.

  2. Click the Add Domain button.

Step 3: Connect Your Domain

  • If your domain is from GoDaddy, IONOS, or Cloudflare, FEA Create will connect it automatically.

  • If you use a different domain provider, you will need to connect it manually:

    1. Log in to your domain provider's website.

    2. Find the DNS settings.

    3. Add a CNAME record with the details provided by FEA Create.

Step 4: Verify Your Domain

  1. Go back to FEA Create.

  2. Click Verify records.

  3. This may take a few minutes to connect, but it can sometimes take up to 48 hours.
