What is a Domain?
A domain is the unique address that people use to find your website on the internet. Think of it like the street address for your online space. For example, yourbusiness.com is a domain. When someone types this into their browser, it directs them to your website.
In FEA Create, you can either purchase a domain directly through the platform or connect one you’ve bought from a domain provider like GoDaddy or Cloudflare. This allows you to use your domain for your website, funnels, client portal, and more.
Step 1: Go to the Domains Section
In FEA Create, go to Settings at the bottom of the menu.
Scroll down and select Domains.
Step 2: Choose Your Domain Option
You can either buy a domain through FEA Create or connect one you've purchased from another provider.
Step 3: Understand the Domain Types
The Funnel/Website/Store/Blog/Webinar section is used for your website, funnels, blog, and other web pages. This is where you will add your Domain or subdomain.
The Email Domain section is for connecting a dedicated email domain for deliverability.
If you have a WordPress website, you can ignore this section, as you can connect your website using the first option.
You can also create a subdomain for your client portal, where your courses and membership area will be hosted.
Additionally, you can connect a branded domain for links such as calendars, invoices, and other linked assets.
Step 4: Connect Your Domain
Click Connect Domain.
If you want to keep your website hosted elsewhere, you can create a subdomain, e.g., go.yourwebsite.com.
For your main domain, you would use yourwebsite.com.
Step 5: Add the DNS Records
If you purchased your domain from GoDaddy, Ionos or Cloudflare, it will connect automatically.
If you bought your domain from another provider, you’ll need to add the DNS records manually:
Step 6: Verify and Customize
If you encounter any issues, contact the FEA Create support team for assistance.
Once you’ve added the records, click Verify Records.
After verification, you can:
Your domain will then be successfully connected and ready to use.
