Customizing your course area helps you create a learning experience that matches your brand and speaks to your audience. You can make your course look more professional, add helpful information, and guide students more clearly through your content. A well-designed course area also makes your students feel more engaged and comfortable.
Step 1: Open the Course Customization Area
Go to Courses Products and click on the course you want to edit.
Click the Customize button to open the design settings.
Step 2: Choose a Template
Select Browse System Templates
Look at the available templates: Classic, New York, Neue, and Neoclassic.
Click on a template you like and then click Use Template at the bottom.
We recommend you use the Neoclassic theme so you can take advantage of the advanced customizable features. The other templates have more fixed layouts and limited editing options.
Step 3: Customize the Course Layout (Neoclassic Theme)
Once your template is applied, you can change its appearance:
Set your colours: These might be automatically pulled from your brand colours.
Choose your fonts: Pick one that fits your style (you can preview different ones to see what works).
Background image: You can use an existing one or upload something new.
You can click into each section of the page (like the header, footer or main content) to edit it individually. This makes it super easy to tweak things just the way you want.
Step 4: Customize the Lesson Area (Neoclassic Theme)
Click into a lesson to edit how the lesson page looks. Here you can:
Step 5: Save Your Custom Template
When you’re happy with the design, click Save.
You can save this as a new template, which lets you reuse it for other courses in the future.
That’s it! You’ve now customized your course area and made it your own.
