In this article, we will guide you through the steps to create dripped and locked content in your courses.
Creating Dripped Content
To create dripped content, follow these steps:
Navigate to "Sites and Products" in your Teachable account.
Edit the product you would like to enable dripped content for.
In the "Drip Content" tab, set the time interval for when you want the content to be released.
Leave the first module open and published, which will be the content customers see when they first sign up.
Set the other modules to drip after the set interval, based on when the customer signs up.
Creating Locked Content
To create locked content, follow these steps:
Navigate to the lesson you want to lock or go to the category level if you want to lock all lessons in that category.
In the "Access" tab, select "Locked" and choose whether to base the lock on the completion of an individual lesson or an entire category.
Leave at least one module available and published at the start, so customers have something to see right away.
Note: You can also use a combination of drip and lock content to create a specific learning experience for your customers.
