Would you like to release your course content gradually rather than all at once?
This tutorial will show you how to set up "dripped content" in your FEA Create course. This means your students will unlock new lessons over time instead of getting everything immediately.
What is Dripped Content?
Dripped content allows you to release parts of your course at set times. For example, your students might get access to "Week 1" content as soon as they sign up, but "Week 2" will only unlock after 7 days, and "Week 3" after 14 days.
This helps students stay on track and not feel overwhelmed by too much content at once.
How to Set Up Dripped Content
Step 1: Organise Your Course into Sections
Create a main category for your course. This is the overall structure of your content.
Add subcategories inside the main category. These subcategories will represent different weeks or stages of the course (e.g., Week 1, Week 2, Week 3).
Step 2: Add Content to Each Section
Upload your course materials (videos, PDFs, lessons).
Place each lesson in the correct subcategory based on when you want it to be available.
Step 3: Set Up the Drip Feature
For each subcategory (e.g., Week 2, Week 3), turn on the Drip Content feature.
Choose how many days after a student joins that section should unlock:
Week 2 content unlocks after 7 days
Week 3 content unlocks after 14 days
Troubleshooting Tips
💡 If content is not unlocking on time:
Double-check that each lesson is in the right subcategory.
Make sure you’ve set the correct number of days for each drip release.
💡 If students can see content too early:
Check the drip settings again to ensure no sections are unlocking too soon.
Dripped content is a great way to keep students engaged, prevent overwhelm, and help them complete your course successfully. Now you’re ready to create a well-structured, easy-to-follow learning experience for your students! 🚀
