When someone signs up for your course or membership in FEA Create, the system can automatically send them their login details by email. If your customers aren't receiving these emails, there are a few things you can check to help fix the issue.
Step 1: Use one method to send login details
You can send login details using either the default system email or a custom workflow. Make sure you're using just one method so they don’t cancel each other out.
Step 2: Make sure your product is linked to an offer
Your payment product needs to be linked to the correct membership offer. To check this:
Go to Payments > Products
Open your product
Click your product price option
Scroll to Additional Options
Make sure the correct Offer is selected
This is what grants access and triggers the login email.
Step 3: Check the email settings inside the offer
Go to Create Your Offer
Open your offer
Click the Client Portal tab
Select Settings
Scroll to Email Settings
Make sure the welcome email toggle is turned on
This will automatically send their login details.
Step 4: If using a workflow, check your steps carefully
If you're sending login details through a workflow:
Go to Automation > Workflows
Create or open your workflow
Use the Offer Access Granted or Membership New Signup trigger
Add a Send Email step
Make sure your email includes the custom value:
{{membership_contact.login_url}}
Remember, test emails won't show the login link while testing. That’s expected behaviour.
Step 5: Check the subscriber's login history
If someone has already signed up for another course, they may already have an account. The system won't send another login email in this case.
To check:
Go to Subscribers
Search for their name or email
Open their profile and scroll down to view their email history
Step 6: Manually reset their password
If someone needs their login details again:
Go to Subscribers
Open their profile
You can either manually Change Password
Or Send password reset link to their email.
This will send them a new login email with their updated details.
If you’re still having trouble, reach out to the FEA Create Support Team and we’ll be happy to help.
