How Do I Add Affiliates To My Products?

With FEA Create, you can add affiliates to help promote your products and earn commission on sales.

Here’s how to set everything up:

Step 1: Go to the Affiliate Manager

  • In your FEA Create account, go to Social Media & Email.

  • Click on Affiliate Manager and then Dashboard.

Step 2: Add Your Affiliate(s)

  • Click New.

  • Fill in your affiliate’s details such as their name and email.

  • Click Save.

Step 3: Create a Campaign

  • Once you’ve added your affiliates, click New again and select Create Campaign.

  • Choose the page where your product is sold. This could be a Sales Funnel, Store Page, or Website Page.

  • Select the relevant Checkout Page.

  • Choose which product(s) from that checkout will earn a commission. You can add or remove items.

Step 4: Set Commission Details

  • Enter how much commission your affiliate will earn (e.g. 10%).

  • Set the duration for the commission. For example, you can make it apply to just the first purchase, for a set time, or until the customer cancels.

  • Add a short description so you and your affiliates know what the campaign is about.

Step 5: Assign Affiliates and Finalise Settings

  • Select which affiliates you want to assign to this campaign. You can choose all or just a few.

  • On this page, you’ll also see Additional Settings:

    • Choose whether to send your affiliate an email notification.

    • Set the payout schedule, such as paying affiliates on the 15th of each month.

  • Click Finish.

  • You can either Publish the campaign right away or Save as Draft to come back to it later.

How to Send Affiliate Links

Each affiliate gets their own unique link. If they don’t receive the email or need their link again, here’s how to find and send it:

  • Go to Affiliate Manager under Social Media & Email.

  • Click on the affiliate’s name.

  • Select the campaign you want the link for.

  • Copy the link and send it to them manually.

You’ll need to repeat these steps for each campaign the affiliate is part of.

Important Notes

  • Affiliate payouts are handled manually through your connected payment gateway.

  • After approving payouts, you must export the payout data in CSV format and upload it to your payment gateway to process the payment manually.

  • Once the payment has been successfully made, it's important to update the status in the Affiliate Manager to "Paid." This ensures accurate reporting for each affiliate and the overall campaign.

  • Currently, these four payment gateways are supported for affiliate payouts:

    • Stripe

    • NMI

    • Authorize.net

    • PayPal

  • You can mark payouts as Approved, Paid, or Denied in the system.

Automating Affiliate Payouts with PayPal

The Affiliate Manager does allow for automating affiliate commission payments, but it requires integration with PayPal. Once your PayPal account is connected, you can automate the payout process by selecting affiliates for payment, confirming the details, and finalizing the payment through PayPal. This ensures timely and efficient commission payouts.
