Step 1: Create a Trigger Link

The first step in setting up a trigger link is to create the link itself. To do this, go to your site's links for your items. For example, if you want to set up a trigger link for your services page, go to your services page and copy the link.

Next, go to Marketing > Links and add your link. Give it a name, such as "Services Page," add the link URL, and click save. Your trigger link has now been created.

Step 2: Set Up the Automation

Once you have created your trigger link, it's time to set up the automation. To do this, go to Automations > Create Workflow > Start from Scratch. Give your automation a name, such as "Services Page Trigger Link," and select the trigger as "Trigger Link Clicked."

From there, you can add filters and select what action you want to take when the trigger link is clicked. For example, you can add a tag indicating that the person is interested in your services.

Step 3: Use the Trigger Link in Your Emails

To use the trigger link in an email, you can do this via your marketing email templates or in your automations. To add the trigger link to your email template, highlight the text that you want to use as the link, click "Trigger Links," and select the trigger link that you created.

When someone clicks on the trigger link in your email, the automation you set up will be triggered, and the action you selected will be taken.

Using trigger links is a great way to segment your audience and target your marketing even more. By setting up trigger links for different pages on your site, you can know who is interested in what, and you can use that information to tailor your marketing messages to them.
