What You Need Set Up First
Before you start, make sure you have:
A Shopify store ready
A name for your custom app which will connect to FEA Create (for example, “FEA Store Integration”)
How long will this take: Setting this up usually takes 15–30 minutes if you have everything ready. Most of the time is spent in Shopify creating the custom app and copying the token.
Step 1: Create a Custom App in Your Shopify Store
Log in to your Shopify store and click Apps in the dashboard
Click Develop apps at the top of the screen
If prompted, click Allow custom app development
Click Create an app
Enter a name for the app (e.g., “FEA Store Integration”) and select your email under App developer, then click Create app
Click Configure Admin API scopes
Under Orders, enable at least read_orders access
Under Customers, enable read_customers access
Under Products, enable at least read_products access
Click Save in the top right corner
Click Install app and then confirm by clicking Install in the pop-up
After installation, go to API credentials and click Reveal token once to get your Admin API access token
Copy the token by clicking the clipboard icon
Your custom app is now ready to connect with FEA Create
Step 2: Connect Shopify to FEA Create
In FEA Create, go to Settings > Integrations
Click Connect under Shopify
Paste the Admin API access token you copied from Shopify
Enter the name of your Shopify store
Click Connect
Your Shopify store is now integrated with FEA Create and ready to sync data
