How to Create Paid Communities in FEA Create

Updated over a year ago

Creating paid communities within your FEA Create community area can be a fantastic way to monetize your expertise and provide exclusive content or interactions to your audience. In this tutorial, we'll walk you through the process of setting up paid communities to offer premium experiences to your members.

Step 1: Access Your Community Area

To create paid communities, you need to log in as an admin and access your FEA Create community area. Once you're in the community area, follow these steps:

Step 2: Access Group Settings

Click the gear icon located in the top right corner of the community area. This icon provides access to your group settings, where you can manage the subscriptions and payment settings for your community group.

Step 3: Configure Payment Options

Now that you're in the group settings, it's time to configure the payment options for your community group. You can offer it for free or charge members for access. To set up paid communities, follow these steps:

  1. In the "Subscriptions" section, you have two options:

    • Keep It Free: If you want to offer your community group for free, you can choose this option. Members can join without any payment.

    • Add New Price: To create a paid community, select this option. You can specify the pricing details for your community group.

  2. When you select "Add New Price," you can set the following parameters:

    • Payment Type: Choose between a one-time payment or a recurring subscription model.

    • Price: Define the cost for accessing your community. This could be a one-time fee or a monthly/annual subscription cost.

    • Trial Period: If you want to provide potential members with a risk-free experience, you can offer a trial period. For instance, a 7-day trial can be set up.

    • Billing Period: Specify whether members will be billed on a monthly or annual basis.

  3. After adding all the necessary payment details, click "Add Payment."

  4. Make sure to save your settings by clicking the "Save" button.

Step 4: Launch Paid Communities

Once you've configured the payment settings, your community group will be set up as a paid group. When someone attempts to join the group, they will need to go through a checkout process to pay for access.

This means you can offer premium content, interactions, or experiences within your community, and members will have to subscribe or make a payment to access these benefits.

Setting up paid communities can help you generate revenue and provide exclusive value to your community members.
