How Do I Edit My Checkout Page?

Your checkout pages are the pages dedicated to collecting your customer information and payment information.

If you're using FEA Create to sell your digital products or services, setting up a checkout page is a crucial step in your sales funnel. Your checkout page should be easy to navigate and provide all the necessary information to your customers. In this article, we will guide you through the process of setting up your checkout page in FEA Create.

Step 1: Add Products to the Checkout Page

  1. Go to the "Funnels" section and locate your funnel.

  2. Click on the checkout step of the funnel to open its settings.

  3. Navigate to the "Products" tab.

  4. Add the product or service you want to sell by selecting it from your list of products.

  5. Save your changes to ensure the product is linked to the checkout step.

Step 2: Access and Customise Your Checkout Page

  1. Return to your funnel and click on the specific checkout page to open it.

  2. Click on the "Edit" button to open the drag-and-drop editor.

Customise Text:

  • Click on any text block to edit the wording.

  • Adjust the font size, colour, and alignment using the toolbar to match your branding and style.

Customise Images:

  • Replace images by clicking on the image block.

  • You can upload a new file from your computer or choose one from your media storage.

Add a Disclaimer:

  • Go to the Advanced Settings and locate the footer text or button footer text field.

  • Modify this to include a disclaimer such as your Terms and Conditions link. Example: "By completing this purchase, you agree to our Terms and Conditions."

Customise the Form Background:

  • In the Style Options, adjust the background of the form. Choose a colour or upload a custom image that aligns with your brand.

  • Make sure the background doesn’t distract from the form itself. A simple and clean background is often best.

Customise Billing and Payment Information Sections:

  • Adjust the fields where customers will enter their billing details and payment information.

  • You can enable a bump order to allow customers to add additional products during checkout with a single click.

  • Enable the "New Contact on Every Purchase" option if you want each transaction to be treated as a new contact.

Step 3: Ensure Action Button Actions Go to the Next Step

  1. The action button (such as “Complete Purchase” or “Submit Order”) should be correctly linked to the next page in your funnel.

  2. Link the action button to the next step, whether that’s a thank you page, upsell page, or order confirmation page.

Step 4: Test Your Checkout Page

  1. Test the entire checkout process to ensure everything is working smoothly.

  2. Go through the checkout flow by entering dummy details, selecting a product, and submitting a test payment. You could create a coupon to test this live.

  3. Ensure that all customer information is properly captured and passed to the next step in your funnel.

Step 5: Save and Publish

  1. Once you're happy with your changes, click "Save" to ensure your edits are stored.

  2. Click "Publish" to make the updated checkout page live on your website or funnel.
