If you're planning a launch, managing a campaign, or simply want to save time, bulk scheduling your social media posts is a great way to get ahead. Instead of adding each post one at a time, you can upload a spreadsheet (called a CSV file) with all your content ready to go. It’s a big time-saver and helps you stay consistent with your social media presence.
Before you get started
Make sure your spreadsheet (CSV file) includes the following columns:
Date and Time – When you want the post to go live
Content – What the post says
Preview link (optional) – A website link to include in the post
Image URL (optional) – A direct link to the image you want to share
GIF URL (optional) – A direct link to the GIF you want to share
Video URL (optional) – A direct link to the video you want to share
How to Bulk Schedule Posts
Step 1: Go to Social Media & Email and open the Social Planner
Step 2: Click New Post and then select Upload from CSV
Step 3: Upload your completed CSV file
Step 4: Choose the social media accounts you want to post to
Step 5: Click Send for Approval
Step 6: Click View Posts to review the imported posts
Step 7: Fix any errors that show up (for example, changing a scheduled time or updating a link)
Step 8: Once everything looks good, click Schedule to publish your posts
Tips for setting up your CSV correctly
Date & Time Format: Make sure you use the correct format: YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm (24-hour clock)
Example:
2025-08-25 14:30
Your scheduled time must be at least 10 minutes after your current time when uploading
Content: Keep your text within the character limit of each social media platform
Image/GIF/Video URLs: Only include one type of media per post (either image, GIF, or video)
Link previews: If you add a link and a media file, the media file will appear in the post, not the link preview
👉 Note: Google Drive links will not work. Please upload your media to the Media Library and use those links instead.
