Have you noticed that some websites and pages have short or customized URLs? This is possible through path customization. A funnel's path defines exactly what your viewers see. Think of it like a unique name for your funnel so the system knows what the viewer is trying to access.
By default, the platform assigns a unique path to every page you create. However, this is generated randomly. If you want a tailored funnel URL that represents your brand, customizing the path is the solution. The funnel path is divided into three sections:
Funnel URL
This is the dedicated URL for a funnel and can be configured in the Settings. It always loads the first step in the funnel, serving as the entry point. This means that no matter how many steps your funnel has, when someone visits this URL, they will always land on the first page of the funnel journey.
Step URL
Each step in the funnel has a unique URL that can be set in the Publishing tab. This allows direct access to specific steps within the funnel. If you want to share a link that takes someone directly to a particular stage in the funnel—like a checkout page—you can use this URL instead of the main funnel URL.
Page URL
The page URL is used when running A/B testing, which means you are testing different versions of the same page to see which one performs better. When A/B testing is enabled, the system may show one version of the page to some visitors and another version to others. The page URL allows you to set a specific path for each variation. You can edit this by clicking the Gear icon next to the Edit Page button. A pop-up will show the page details where you can adjust the page path.
Customizing these URLs makes it easier for customers to find and remember your pages, helping to grow your business with minimal effort.
