Why Are There Different Funnel URLs?
FEA Create provides three different URLs for each funnel:
Funnel URL: The main entry point for your funnel. It always loads the first step of your funnel journey and is used when you want visitors to start at the beginning.
Step URL: Each step in your funnel has its own URL, set in the Publishing tab. This is useful if you want to send someone directly to a specific stage in the funnel, such as a checkout page.
Page URL: Used for A/B testing. If you have multiple versions of a page, the system may show different versions to different visitors. The page URL lets you set a unique path for each variation.
Having these three URLs allows you to control how visitors access your funnel and makes it easier to test, share, and optimise your pages.
What Do I Need to Have Done Before Updating These URLs?
Before updating or sharing any funnel URL, make sure:
Your funnel is fully built and all pages are published.
Any domain or subdomain you want to use is already connected.
You have tested your funnel internally using the Preview URL.
How Long Will It Take?
Updating the funnel URLs for your audience takes 2-3 minutes. Copying or changing a URL inside your account is immediate.
Once updated, the URLs are live for users to access.
How Do I Test This?
Testing your funnel URLs is simple:
Copy and paste each URL, the Funnel URL, Step URL, and Page URL, into your browser.
Check that the Funnel URL loads the first step correctly.
Confirm that each Step URL goes to the correct stage in your funnel.
If you have A/B testing enabled, open the Page URLs to see each variation.
This ensures everything works as expected before sharing with your audience.
