How Do I Create An Invoice?

You can create invoices for your clients directly within the FEA Create platform.

Updated over a month ago

If you want to send invoices directly to your clients, you can do it easily within the Payments section of FEA Create. Here's how:

Step 1: Check Your Payment Integration

Before you start, make sure your Stripe account is connected.

  • Go to Payments, then Integrations

  • Make sure Stripe is connected so your clients can pay you directly from the invoice

Step 2: Go to Invoices

Head to Payments, then Invoices and Estimates, and click on All Invoices. This is where you can see all your past invoices and create new ones.

Step 3: Create a New Invoice

Click on + New Invoice. You can either use a template you've already set up or start from scratch.

Step 4: Add Basic Details

Start by filling in the key information:

  • Your business information

  • Select a customer (make sure the customer is already added to your contacts)

  • Invoice number (you can choose your own number)

  • Issue date and Due date

Step 5: Add the Product or Service

Include what you're charging for by selecting a product or service. Make sure you've added the product in the Products area first.

Step 6: Optional Additions

You can also:

  • Charge late fees

  • Add an attachment (like a signed agreement or document related to the invoice)

  • Allow tipping

  • Include your terms and conditions

Step 7: Save and Send

Once you're happy with the invoice:

  • Click Save

  • You can Send it directly by email

  • Or Copy the link and send it another way

  • You can also Mark as Sent if you’re tracking it manually

Step 8: Managing Invoices

After sending, you can see when it’s been viewed or paid. The status will update to "Paid" once the payment is complete. You can also:

  • Download the invoice

  • Delete it

  • Copy it

That’s it! You’ve created and sent an invoice using FEA Create. This makes it easy to manage payments for your business.
