How to create your Homepage
Updated this week

A homepage is the first thing visitors see when they visit your website. It’s your chance to make a great first impression, provide key information and guide users to explore the rest of your site. Think of it as the welcome mat for your online presence.

Follow these easy steps to build your very own homepage:

Step 1: Create a New Page

  • Once you're in the FEA Create dashboard, navigate to Websites & Funnels.

  • Click on Websites and select your website. If you haven't created your Website yet, click New Website. Then choose the option to Add New Page.

  • Give your page a name, such as "Homepage."

  • Enter the path as /home. This means when you type in example.com/home it will display this page.

Step 2: Add and Arrange Elements

  1. Add a Section:

    • Click the + icon in the top left corner.

    • Click Add Section

    • Choose the type of section you want:

      • Full Width: A section that spans the entire width of the page.

      • Container: A section with a fixed width to keep content centered.

    • Click and drag it onto your page.

  2. Add Rows and Columns:

    • Click on Add Row to structure your page.

    • Choose the number of columns (e.g., one, two, or three) based on your layout needs.

  3. Add Text:

    • Drag a Text element into the desired row or column.

    • Click on the text box and type your content, such as your title (e.g., “About Us”) or story.

  4. Add Images:

    • Drag an Image element into a row or column.

    • Upload a photo that represents your business or team.

  5. Rearrange Elements:

    • Drag and drop rows, columns, or individual elements to organize your page.

Step 4: Add a Navigation Menu

A navigation menu helps users easily move through your website.

  • Follow step 2 to add a new section at the top of your page for the menu.

  • Inside the section, click Add Row and select a single-column layout.

  • Click Add Element and choose Navigation Menu from the list.

  • Customize the menu by adding links to your website's pages (e.g., Home, About, Contact).

  • Adjust the menu's design and alignment using the settings panel.

  • Read more steps about the navigation menu here.

Step 5: Arrange Your Page

  • Rearrange sections, rows, and elements by dragging and dropping them into place.

  • Use the arrow buttons in the settings panel to move sections or rows up and down the page.

  • Preview your page by clicking the Preview button to see how it looks.

Step 6: Save and Publish

  • Once you're happy with your homepage, click Save.

  • When you're ready to make it live, click Publish.
